Containing seven songs, this recording showed a slightly more varied structure than the first demo. After the tragic loss of Windir frontman and founder Terje "Valfar" Bakken in the winter early 2004, the remaining members of Windir decided to pull the plug on the band. A last Windir album was planned as a final tribute to Terje. Hváll, member of Windir and later his new band Vreid, phoned Erik E and asked if Weh could record a coversong of Windir as one of several bands paying homage on the album "Valfar, Ein Windir". "Likbør", from Windir's first album "Sóknardalr", was recorded by Weh (produced by Morten Hennum Nicolaysen, Morgan's older brother), and included on the tribute album.
Later in 2004, the third demo was recorded (on a sixteen-track this time), yet again with the help of the old friend Morten Hennum Nicolaysen doing the mixing. "The Coffee's Cold In The Morning, The Beer's Warm At Night" included ten songs. Late 2005 saw the classic "Hoof & Horn" recording, produced and mixed by Erik E. These three songs were so far the closest representation of what Weh was supposed to be in the first place, with a more dynamic feeling than the previous recordings. In the last days of November 2006, the four new songs took shape. "North" continues along the path trodden by "Hoof & Horn" a year earlier.
In October of 2007 Weh participated with the song 'And the Bells are Ringing Doom' for the online 'zine Lunar Hypnosis' third free mp3 compilation ‘Autumn Calls | Winter Awaits.’
The official website has all recordings to date available for download, save for the Windir cover.

Hang 'Em High
Weh Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The lyrics to Weh's song Hang 'em High delve into the artist's disdain for religion and its devotees. The first lines address the idea of confessing sins to Jesus, an act often encouraged by religious leaders. However, the singer refuses to confide in someone they do not even know, questioning the significance of seeking forgiveness from a figure they do not believe in. The following lines reveal the singer's contempt for those who are constantly preaching about religion, referring to them as "losers" and expressing a desire to see them punished for their beliefs. The lyrics make it clear that the singer feels unbothered by the idea of going against religious tradition, with lines such as "my lord will always be the darkest night" implying that the singer has found their own way to understand the world outside of religious teachings.
The second half of the song grows increasingly aggressive, with the singer growing more and more frustrated with organized religion and those who adhere to it. The lines "Laughing at their meanings, spitting on their graves" demonstrate a complete disregard for religious beliefs and traditions. The chorus is repeated with the intention of conveying an ultimatum, with the singer threatening to hang those who do not see the world the way they do, seemingly underscoring the sort of condemnation and hatred religious divide can foster, and the extent people can go to when their beliefs are contradicted or disregarded.

They tell me that I should go find Jesus, open up confess all of my sins.
People advise me to seek out Jesus, admit my wrongdoings to him.
But I don't even know that sorry bastard, so why should I say anything to him.
I am not acquainted with Jesus, so why should I confess anything to him?
Tired of their endless lie, some day I'll hang 'em high.
I am weary of their constant deception, and one day I will see them punished.
A proper way for them to die, some day I'll hang 'em high.
They deserve to die for their deceit, and I will be the one who brings them to justice.
They pray for that poor old unbeliever, hope he will wake up and see the light.
They pray for a non-believer to convert and embrace their faith.
But I don't have no time for all those losers, my lord will always be the darkest night.
I have no interest in those weak-minded individuals, and my devotion lies with a dark, ominous deity.
Laughing at their meanings, spitting on their graves, soon no one will be singing 'Jesus saves'.
I find their beliefs ridiculous, and I will show them disrespect even in death. Soon, no one will remember or uphold their faith.
Tired of their endless lie, today I'll hang 'em high.
I am fed up with their deceit, and I will take action today.
A proper way for them to die, today I'll hang 'em high.
I believe that hanging them is a fitting punishment for their lies, and I will make it happen today.
