Weichafe Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
reza con dolor
es mejor que no pierdas el control
estoy en el borde
Salvador, soy tus miedos
Salvador, tras la puerta
salvador, en silencia
No hay dolor que no puedas responder
quiero mi ración
no hay temor que puedas resolver
corres corres
Salvador, soy tus miedos
salvador, tras la puerta
salvador, en silencio
Quiero mi ración
Salvador, soy tus miedos
Salvador, tras la puerta
Salvador, en silencio
Soy tus miedos
Salvador, tras la puerta
Salvador, en silencio
Salvador!
The lyrics to Weichafe's song Salvador convey a sense of fear, control, and the struggle for power. The singer tells his listener to pray when they go to sleep, as they are on the brink of losing control. The repeated line of "Salvador, soy tus miedos" translates to "Savior, I am your fears," indicating that the singer may be the listener's fears personified. The reference to being behind a door in the line "tras la puerta" evokes the idea of something hidden or secretive. The song builds to a climax in which the singer declares their power over the listener, saying "quiero mi ración" (I want my share) and repeating "Salvador" with increasing intensity.
Overall, the lyrics suggest a power dynamic in which the singer holds sway over the listener through fear and intimidation. The repeated refrain of "Salvador" acts as a reminder of this power dynamic and serves to reinforce the message of the song.
