Tierra Oscura Del Sol
Weichafe Lyrics

Tratando de salir
Caminos amargos
Tierra oscura del sol
Enfermedad
Oficio de gusanos, desierta luz de risas
Caminas hacia arriba
Tratando (y) de (más) salir (abajo estas)
Caminas hacia arriba tratando de salir
Cuando tu padre te ha envenenado
Donde tus dedos se adormecen con miradas
La triste tierra fértil ya es inerte
Celebra el cumpleaños de la muerte
Aquí tu cuerpo huele bien.
The lyrics to Weichafe's song "Tierra Oscura Del Sol" speak about the difficulty of facing challenges in life. The opening line, "Difficult it is to look, trying to get out," sets the tone for the rest of the song. The next line speaks of bitter paths and a dark land where the sun shines. This is a metaphor for the struggles we face, even when things seem bright and hopeful. The next few lines talk about disease and the occupation of worms, which could be interpreted as a metaphor for the decay and destruction that come with difficult times. The line "deserted light of laughter" adds to this image of desolation.
The refrain of the song, "You walk up trying to get out," is repeated, emphasizing the struggle and difficulty of overcoming challenges. The verse that follows speaks of being poisoned by one's father and the numbing effect of constantly facing difficult situations. The line "The sad fertile land is already inert" speaks of a hopelessness that can come with prolonged struggles. The last line, "Here your body smells good," is a bitter irony, implying that even in the face of death and destruction, there can still be something beautiful.
Overall, "Tierra Oscura Del Sol" is a song about resilience and the struggle to overcome adversity. The dark imagery and metaphors highlight the difficulty of the journey, but the repetition of the refrain hints at the hope that lies within us to keep climbing higher.
