According to my mom, I died three times as a baby from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), and even though I was nine days old at the time, I’m 37 now and still remember being in the corner of my nursery looking down at myself in a crib. I knew that my mother was in the kitchen cooking and came in to find me.

The next thing I remember was looking over the doctors shoulders when they had me in the NICU performing resuscitative efforts on me.

The last situation I remembered was looking over my crib in the corner of the NICU and seeing my parents place a stuffed Donald Duck next to me in my crib, thinking that I would be gone forever.

Years later, when my parents brought up the anniversary of my return, I described to them what my nursery looked like, what my mom was doing and wearing, and what my hospital room looked like and the details of them giving me my Donald. They were shocked that I was able to be so accurately descriptive.

I’ve been through a great deal in my life, but have since served honorably in the military on combat deployments, I’m a police officer and am now becoming an EMT. I have been very passionate about saving peoples lives and helping others to serve Him.

I am a Christian and believe in Jesus Christ, and know that He is the way, the truth, and the life….

@Josiah White Yes, he is. When I was sleeping last night, I began to hear the song, "How Great Thou Art". I was singing it in a dream.
O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made;
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!
When through the woods, and forest glades I wander,
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees.
When I look down, from lofty mountain grandeur
And see the brook, and feel the gentle breeze.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!
And when I think, that God, His Son not sparing;
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in;
That on the Cross, my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!
When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation,
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart.
Then I shall bow, in humble adoration,
And then proclaim: "My God, how great Thou art!"
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

My near death experience happened over 25 years ago, but was something I can not forget. I’m so glad you shared these stories. A lot of people discount NDEs since it’s unfamiliar to them.

During my experience, the light surrounded my weightless self, but prior to entering that Light filled with pure Love, and talking with God via my mind; I actually got a glimpse of Hell.

After the pitch Black tunnel began to lighten to a Grayish, dim light; I found myself floating high in a Gray, Stone Cave. I was so shaken because about 80 feet beneath me were two openings on either sides of the Cave, but there were no other openings. There were people reaching up to me through both openings, but they were not allowed to pass through the openings in to the lobby-like area where my spirit was floating. They were covered with raggedy, ripped clothes covered in dirt and blood, and their nails were.about four inches long, also covered with dirt and blood.

They were screaming in terror, trying to escape, and were clawing up in my direction for help. Then everything turned pitch Black again. Seconds later, an endless field of different species of Flowers hummed softly in unison, as they swayed together left to right, though there was no wind.

Everything went back to Black, and a tiny light about the size of the head of a straight-pin appeared in the upper, left space high above me; something like a single Star in the sky. Within seconds, the light grew as it moved to the right, as if it were traveling along the top of a Rainbow, but there was no other light. Then light grew so quickly that it engulfed my being. I had no physical body, yet I was there, floating, but not moving…just existing in the Light. I sensed pure love and acceptance, and everything was quiet, clean and peaceful. At that point there was a “knowing”. I instantly knew everything (though I don’t remember now what I knew,) and I felt no pain. I did sense unconditional, total love.

There is no light on Earth as bright as the Light I saw. Though I never saw His figure, I immediately knew it was God. I asked God to let me live so that my Son wouldn’t be without a Parent. God spoke to my mind saying, “The most important person in life is other people, not yourself!” I immediately woke back up in the California’s County Hospital where the training Doctor accidentally poured a substance in my Ear, which I am allergic to, and it caused my body to shut down.

It took over 15 years for me to understand God’s statement about other people being more important than myself. It was later revealed to me that, I am supposed to help and be concerned about others, and not worry about myself, because GOD’s GOT MY BACK! Everything we need has already been provided, or a provision has been created before our need. Our job is to keep the Faith, and help others.

We all have the same job! God bless everyone!

I had a near death experience when I was 11 yo. What I will always remember of that experience is a voice telling me "It's not your time yet" and in that moment I fell down very fast to reincorporate into my body.
I never understood that message and what happened to me.
Until now a grown up woman struggling a lot for years with my health is when finally I understand those words.
I had to live, respect myself always, listen to my heart, stand up for myself, ve myself and be happy. And learn because we're here for learning and help others.

I wish I could go back some years of my life to try to change some of the mistakes I did in my life.
I'm struggling a lot with my health and my situation gas turned kinda hard.
I'm not so afraid of diying but the pain, physical and emotional of living.
And hope that my cats can live a happy life without harm from others.
My advice is to live without harming yourself nor others.
Live in the present moment but think well about yoir future, what you want to do and where and now is the time yo work on it and at the same time enjoy your life.

I worked in a nursing home. During the pandemic we had a resident declining fast. She got to the point that she was basically unresponsive. Her family was at her bedside crying, she opened her eyes and told them “don’t cry, it’s so beautiful here” and passed away.
Still gives me chills thinking about it.

I believe it! My pawpaw went down hill in 3 days. He was in and out of it. He kept seeing other family members that had passed and even their longtime family dog that passed over 20 year ago. One of the times he came too, my mom asked if he saw Jesus, and he responded, "Not yet, but I'm in line waiting to go in" Shortly after he passed 💜

This gives me some peace.. I lost the love of my life of 7 years, 2 months ago.. He was taken away from me at only 24 yrs old. At his wake he had a smile on his face. I’m not sure if the funeral home did that or if he was all his dead loved ones when he passed & ended with a smile…

I was with one of my Uncles and my mum when they died. I wonder what they saw.

2 years ago I overdosed on sleeping pills from trying to take my life. I went to the hospital and was in and out of consciousness. In each sleep state, the doctors kept telling me to stay awake but I was so tired. I looked at one of the doctors watching me and I remember clear as day saying "I'm just going to close my eyes for a second.", and I felt the tingling the second lady was talking about. I heard myself flatline. I remember looking at my body, but at the same time being in a different room that had a marble staircase waiting for someone to come down. I heard footsteps walking closer to my body, and a male's voice whom I recognize belonged to my uncle that passed away from a sudden massive heart attack when I was ten years old. He said, "it's not time yet.", and I felt a really strong pull pulling me back to my body. I opened my eyes to see the doctors smiling and saying things like "welcome back." and "We lost you there for a second.", to this day I don't feel like taking my life anymore. I believe my uncle was called to tell me that everything was going to be okay. I have a beautiful 14-month-old baby boy, and a happiness I never thought I could have. If you feel hopeless, and you want to take your life, PLEASE stay.

Thank you for sharing your story. I’m glad that you’re well now and have hope. Your child needs their Mom. It’s amazing how much motherhood changes everything.

@amberlee.nycole.perrine8150

@Shelly Rae Thank you so much. He is staying with his grandparents while I continue to get help, but I still sometimes feel like a bad mom but I still stay around for him because I can't peace out of this planet before he sees that his mommy did what she had to do to be a good mom for him.

@2-strokeracer531

Please don't ever do that again...
Please.....
