Originally named The Witch (after the song "Witch" on 13 Ways to Bleed on Stage) the band name was changed to When November Falls in November 2006, before any work had been done.[1] Currently, seven songs have been written and three have been put out on the band's MySpace page: "My Heart," "Symphony for a Mad World," "Let the Rain Begin," "Monster's Gone," "Starts When You Fall," "The Avenue," and "Halleluah"
Recording of the album will begin June 1st, and the album will see a release some time in fall of 2007. The album will be released through the new label I AM : WOLFPACK, in which Ross Robinson is the producer. Robinson was the producer for Cold's major label debut, Cold.
The song "Symphony for a Mad World" also had a music video produced for it by a MySpace user. It features a series of short clips of recent violent acts around the world.
On June 25th, Scooter Ward announced that John Otto from Limp Bizkit will be playing the drums on the upcoming debut album.
But before the release of the Scooter Ward has changed the name of the project on The Killer and the Star. As of July 14 2009, the full CD was released and available for purchase.
