Hour Of Reprisal
While Heaven Wept Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Your empty promises have left only ruin
The deepest truths through silence now spoken
Your coldness cruel will never be forgiven

Murderer of
Heart and spirit
Fate not fire insures this
Torment you shall inherit

Judas bitch, the greatest sin is that of betrayal
When the cold sharp blades of conscience call
Neither penance nor mourning can avert reprisal

Murderer of
Heart and spirit

Fate not fire insures this
Torment you shall inherit

Too fast for a doom band!!

Red21Viper

@RAM yes i understand that but i think that in their case they had changed their style to more up tempo epic doom style from the previous album. Maybe not that fast but still they had some up tempo songs there

RAM

@Red21Viper I agree with you, however, when a band becomes famous for playing an specific genre, it's a little strange such a radical change!!
