2) White Lies was a one piece band consisting of Haydé Walraet from Belgium. Currently known as Haydé. She had her small claim to fame with her cover of the Kaiser Chiefs' song, "Heat Dies Down" which was accepted as a heart warming cover considering Haydé had minimal live footage to work with to re-interpret it her own way.
She also covered the Little Man Tate song "You And Me Might Be Alright, You Know" which used the same technique of acoustic guitar, layered, precious vocals and simple harmonies throughout.
But she is not just a cover artist, Haydé also writes her own songs and released a demo of seven of them in the latter half of 2006. Her style is often simple and laid back with songs to calm the mind and ease you into the day. Her demo was again confronted with good press who saw her demo as a humane approach to life from the eyes of a young girl.
3) White Lies was an Exeter, Devon, United Kingdom based alternative rock band. The first years of the bands career, they were going under the name Rota. In 2004 the band released their self-titled album White Lies, having received positive reviews. Although in 2005 the band went its seperate ways, with each member having his own new band.

Watching the world so small below
I love the dreaming when I think of
The safety in the clouds out my window
I wonder what keeps us so high up
Could there be a love beneath these wings?
If we suddenly fall should I scream out
As I'm crying, so frightened of dying
Relax, yes, I'm trying
This fear's got a hold on me
Yes, this fear's got a hold on me
Yes, this fear's got a hold on me
I love the quite of the night time
When the sun is drowning in the deathly sea
I can feel my heart beating as I speed from
The sense of time catching up with me
The sky set out like a pathway
But who decides which route we take
As people drift into a dream world
I close my eyes as my hands shake
And when I see a new day
Who's driving this anyway
I picture my own grave 'cause fear's got a hold on me
Yes, this fear's got a hold on me
Yes, this fear's got a hold on me
Yes, this fear's got a hold on me
Yes, this fear's got a hold on me
Floating neither up or down
I wonder when I'll hit the ground
Well, the earth beneath my body shake
And cast your sleeping hearts awake
Could it tremble stars from moon light skies?
Could it drag a tear from your cold eyes?
I live on the right side, I sleep in the left
That's why everything's gotta be love or death
Yes, this fear's got a hold on me
Yes, this fear's got a hold on me
Yes, this fear's got a hold on me
Yes, this fear's got a hold on me
Yes, this fear's got a hold on me
Yes, this fear's got a hold on me
Yes, this fear's got a hold on me
Yes, this fear's got a hold on me
White Lies' song "Death" is a reflective and introspective piece that grapples with the idea of death and the fear that comes alongside it. The lyrics revolve around the thoughts and emotions of the singer as he contemplates his own mortality while on a flight. The song touches on the fragile nature of life, the uncertainty of our existence, and the inevitability of death.
The first verse describes the feeling of exhilaration that comes with flying, the sense of floating above the world and the safety that can be found in the clouds. The singer then asks himself if there could be a love that keeps us airborne, or if everything is ultimately meaningless. He wonders if he should scream out if the plane suddenly falls, or if he should remain quiet in his fear.
The second verse shifts focus to the night, the sense of time speeding up, and the uncertainty of our future. The singer ponders the route we take in life and whether we have any control. He notes that people often drift into a dream world instead of facing reality, while he himself closes his eyes as his hands shake. The chorus is repeated four times, each time reminding us that fear has a hold on the singer.
The final verse imagines the moment of impact when the singer hits the ground and asks whether it will shake the earth and awaken sleeping hearts. He asks whether it could move the stars or bring a tear to a cold eye. The song ends with the repeated refrain that fear has a hold on the singer.
Overall, "Death" is a deeply emotional song that touches on themes of mortality and the human condition. The lyrics are open to interpretation and encourage listeners to reflect on their own thoughts and feelings regarding death and the meaning of life.

I love the feeling when we lift off
I enjoy the sensation of taking off in a plane
Watching the world so small below
Seeing the world from a great height makes it seem small
I love the dreaming when I think of
I enjoy imagining the safety of being in a plane above the clouds
The safety in the clouds out my window
I perceive a sense of security in the clouds around the plane
I wonder what keeps us so high up
I am curious about what allows the plane to stay at such a high altitude
Could there be a love beneath these wings?
Is there something special that keeps the plane in the air?
If we suddenly fall should I scream out
If the plane were to crash, should I yell for help?
Or keep very quite and cling to my mouth?
Or should I remain silent and brace myself for impact?
As I'm crying, so frightened of dying
I am emotional and scared for my life
Relax, yes, I'm trying
I am trying to calm down, but it is difficult
This fear's got a hold on me
My fear is controlling me
I love the quite of the night time
I appreciate the peacefulness of nighttime
When the sun is drowning in the deathly sea
When the sun is setting and the sky is turning dark
I can feel my heart beating as I speed from
I feel my heart racing as I move quickly away from something
The sense of time catching up with me
The feeling that time is running out
The sky set out like a pathway
The sky looks like a road or route
But who decides which route we take
Who determines the path that we follow in life?
As people drift into a dream world
As others become lost in their own thoughts
I close my eyes as my hands shake
I am scared and nervous, so I close my eyes and tremble
And when I see a new day
When I wake up to a new morning
Who's driving this anyway
Who is in control of my life and where it takes me?
I picture my own grave 'cause fear's got a hold on me
I worry about death because my fear is controlling me
Floating neither up or down
Not moving up or down, just hovering
I wonder when I'll hit the ground
I worry about crashing to the ground
Well, the earth beneath my body shake
If I were to crash, the ground beneath me would shake
And cast your sleeping hearts awake
The loud noise of a crash would wake people from their sleep
Could it tremble stars from moon light skies?
Would the impact be strong enough to shake the stars in the sky?
Could it drag a tear from your cold eyes?
Would it be emotional enough to bring tears to someone's eyes?
I live on the right side, I sleep in the left
I have a specific routine and way of living
That's why everything's gotta be love or death
I only see extreme outcomes, either love or death, in my life
Yes, this fear's got a hold on me
My fear is still controlling me
Yes, this fear's got a hold on me
My fear is still controlling me
Yes, this fear's got a hold on me
My fear is still controlling me
Yes, this fear's got a hold on me
My fear is still controlling me
Yes, this fear's got a hold on me
My fear is still controlling me
Yes, this fear's got a hold on me
My fear is still controlling me
Yes, this fear's got a hold on me
My fear is still controlling me
Yes, this fear's got a hold on me
My fear is still controlling me
