Horant
White Skull Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
In their satan eyes there's satan's course
But king Horant always says "It will be all right"
He won't reach the ODIN's reign he will win the fight
The world has got it wrong and we see the outcome
My heart began to flutter in this bloodstorm
But king Horant always says "It will be all right"
He won't reach the ODIN's reign he will win the fight
[chorus]
Horant always says the same
Time has come for the brave
Just time to say a quick hello
Time has come for the war
Now the time has come the demons approache
In their satan eyes there's satan's course
But king Horant always says "It will be all right"
He won't reach the ODIN's reign he will win the fight
[chorus]
Horant always says the same
Time has come for the brave
Just time to say a quick hello
Time has come for the brave
The lyrics of White Skull's song Horant are a battle cry inspired by the figure of the king Horant, who with his bravery and courage will defend his kingdom from the invasion of demons. The opening verse describes how the demons are approaching with their eyes set on their destructive course. In this context, Horant, as a powerful and wise king, reassures his people that it will be all right and that he will lead them to victory over the demoralizing powers of Satan. However, the constant repetition of the phrase "he won't reach the Odin's reign" implies that the king is aware of the formidable nature of the enemy and is ready to fight fiercely with his people.
The chorus is a call to arms - "Time has come for the brave" - which fans the flames of the listener's excitement and resolve. It is an invitation to all those who are willing to fight for their king and their country to stand together and take up arms to defend their land. The chorus effectively portrays a visionary picture of the battle that is about to occur, heightening the stakes and instilling an urgency to act now.
Overall, Horant is a song that celebrates the bravery of a king and encourages the listener to emulate his courage in standing up for what is right. It is a song that inspires resilience, fortitude, and the determination to never give up in the face of adversity.
