In 1991, after the recording of its first demo-tape, White Skull was noticed by the audience and the specialized Italian metal press. The band started a live-promotion in order to increase its own experience. In May 1994, WS released their second demo entitled "Save the Planet", which received excellent reviews.
Excellent reviews and extensive live appearances brought the band in touch with a few Italian labels. However, their music was considered "not suitable for the market"… thus, the guys were asked to change sound and music style. Being fond of classical Heavy Metal and followers of bands like Iron Maiden, Helloween, Scorpions, Black Sabbath and Saxon, the Skulls decided to go on with their type of music, because of their belief in true Metal life-style. White Skull then contributed to two Heavy Metal compilation:
* "Nightpieces 4" (in January 1995) and "Area Sismica" (in June 1995).

Perfect Design
White Skull Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
But I'm sure what I feel
There is a lot of magnetism
A lot of big designs
Visible only from the sky
Only when you fly so high
South America, England, Europe
And so on lot of
Perfect designs on the ground
Not by man drawn
Chorus:
These signs are coming from the sky
Men don't know why
Universe is talking with us
Scientists threw out
Some messages and hoped to find
Someone to hear them
Genetic trees traveling in space
And we've received them from another place
Signs, more, signs with message Aliens wrote
Signs, more, signs we want to know the code
Signs, more, signs, but we don't understand
Signs, more, signs, we think it 's a joke
The lyrics of "Perfect Design" by White Skull discuss the idea of crop circles and other mysterious designs appearing in fields around the world. The singer notes that these designs are not made by humans, but instead appear to be created by some unseen force. The lyrics suggest that the designs are messages from the universe, and that scientists have attempted to decode them in order to understand their meaning. The singer expresses frustration that humans do not seem capable of comprehending these messages, and that many people dismiss them as a joke.
The first verse describes the singer's experience of seeing these designs from above, suggesting that they can only truly be appreciated from a distance. The chorus reinforces the idea that the designs are coming from the sky, and that humans do not understand their purpose. The verse about genetic trees travelling in space is a reference to a real-life experiment in which scientists sent tree-cuttings into space in order to study the effects of zero gravity on their growth. This experiment took place in 1995, and it's possible that the song was inspired by this event.
"Perfect Design" is a song that touches on themes of the unknown and the mysterious, presenting the idea that there are forces at work in the world that humans are simply not equipped to understand. The song may also be interpreted as a commentary on the limitations of human knowledge and the struggle to make sense of a complex and ever-changing universe.
