Christopher Marquise Watson, otherwise known as Wick, is one of the most thoughtful and unique sounding vocalists in Chicago's hip hop scene. He first fell in love with poetry as a teenager, and while DJing for Parkland College radio station in Champaign, Illinois he transitioned into writing music lyrics. He performed and recorded with the group Dolce Stil Nuovo, and then went on to become a core member of the Chicago-based live hip hop unit Daily Bridge Club. He has also appeared on the Polyphonic album Abstract Data Ark.
Now "experimenting" in the fiction writing program in Chicago's Columbia College he is involved in many projects as writer, speaker, art director, philosopher and therapist. He debut solo recording Locket in a Well, featuring production by Joe Canham, Polyphonic, and DJ Otter was released on Audio 8 Recordings in early 2006.
