Remembering my mother and father dancing to this in our house :) My aunt and her boyfriend laughing at my dad because he was so tall and lanky but dancing like crazy, lol! And their family friend Neal, who would sing along and play his fold up keyboard that he'd always be luggin' around :) <3 I so love this song! And I'm so grateful my mother had me growing up listening music like this, just plain GOOD music!

I was born in 1968 and this is a small piece of what my dad's record collection was like. I'm so glad to have heard and still continue listening to this awesome music. I think my dad had more Elvis Presley and Johnny Mathis records among many other legendary singers from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. It was a great time listening to his record collection as a kid.

mid to late 1950’s songs at my grandparents house ever since I was a toddler. Sadly my grandfather is no longer alive, he passed away back in September unexpectedly to a stoke, but he introduced me to some great catchy timeless tunes. :’)

It’s still a really fun and underrated place! The music scene rules, it’s becoming great for craft beer, riverboats if you like that sort of thing, the best tailgate culture in the country, and the bbq can’t be beat. And the arts scene is huge! Really low key vacation spot.

Everytime I hear these golden oldies from the 50s and early 60s I get Fallout vibes. I picture myself trekking across some radioactive wasteland with a Winchester rifle in my hands and my trusty dog at my side. I pass by a ruined city, still smoking from when the bombs dropped. At night, after a long day scavenging for canned food, I read from a book that wasn't destroyed from the fires, a book about the world before the apocalypse and it's the only thing that keeps me from giving up.

I had a vacation in 2019 in Kanas City. Made it to Vine ST and the amazing Jazz Museum and Negro Baseball League. That same weekend the Kanas City Royals wore the Knights Jerseys in honor of the old team. Lots of rich history in Kansas City
