Let's Stick Together
Wilbert Harrison Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Together we will stand
Divided we'll fall
Come on now people
And let's get on the ball

And work together
Come on come on let's work together
Now now people
Say now together we will stand
Every boy girl woman and man

Before when things go wrong
As they sometimes will
When the road you travel
Well seems all uphill

Let's work together
Come on come on let's work together
Now now people
Say now together we will stand
Every boy girl woman and man

Make someone happy
Make someone smile
Let's all work together
And make life worthwhile

Let's work together
Come on come on let's work together
Now now people
Say now together we will stand
Every boy girl woman and man

Two or three minutes
Two or three hours
What do they mean
Now now in this life of ours

Let's work together
Come on come on let's work together
Now now people
Say now together we will stand
Every boy girl woman and man

Holy crap! I am a huge fan of Bryan Ferry's version, but tonight I have discovered the original and it rocks!

Pierrot Ferrand

Belle version

Sharon Howcroft

Try The Canned Heat Version called "Let's Work Together"

Eric Pircher

@Sharon Howcroft I'm familiar with all three versions. Personally, Canned Heat's version is the most forgettable. Wilbert Harrison's original connects with the words properly and has a raw intensity that even Brian Ferry's version can't muster.

Larmondo 'Flair' Allen

@Eric Pircher I love the Canned Heat version. It blows this away.

Eric Pircher

@Larmondo 'Flair' Allen In what dimension does the Canned Heat version "blow this away"?
