Oh no! I been in a white band and it's worse when the black band goes first because after the black band perform the white band goes and people starts going to the concession stand. I've never seen a stand so empty when the white band goes to perform after the black band. This goes to show that the black band brings what the crowd needs for the rest of the game.😂😂

That’s what I loved about my high school lmao. Our band director was a big white dude who was a director at a predominantly black school before coming to ours and it changed football games altogether! We went from barely having a band at all to being 1st division across the board in concert and marching season in just 2-3 years. And goooooood damn were our stands lit 😂

I'm half Asian/White, played trumpet, and ended up going to a predominately Black school. The marching band I was in was HBCU-inspired, and it was probably one of the most fun times I've ever had in my life. The music, the dancing, breakdowns, the training... everything about it... high school was so much fun because of it!
