Don't tell anyone, but when Mickey said that line, "Save your breath for cooling your porridge," I fell in love. This really shocked me bc I could have sworn that I was a straight male the entire 53 years of my life prior to seeing Pitt/Mickey in this Perfect movie.

Also, you said Brad's performance here was "just as quality as" --- but bc you didn't put "etc," I insist on adding "Meet Joe Black" to your list :). Now I'm going to watch this movie again right after I make supper here in a bit . . .

Golden brown, texture like sun
Lays me down, with my mind she runs
Throughout the night
No need to fight
Never a frown with golden brown . . .

9 1/2 out 10. Put the scenes in proper sequence it would have been a 10. This is my #2 movie in my top 5. Love Guy Ritchie, and his dialogue and directing style. The Gentleman is right there on my list as well.

I remember critics shitting on his performance because they couldn't understand what he was saying. Absolute masterclass in missing the point...

It's just stupid, Brad cannot act worth adamn

@snelgrave101

That's critics for you they critisize , I always say the best critic is yourself, I've enjoyed many a film that the critics said steer clear of.

@DemocracyManifest

It's easy to sit back and criticize, it's hard to go out and 'do'...Brad Pitt is a do-er, has played many brilliant roles and this is a great example of just one.
