What I Deserve
Window To The Abbey Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

If I could only breathe
Somehow find a better man in me
I could take a stand another day
Before the world falls at my feet

If I could only sleep
Lonely and the blind around me
And as I stumble home and cry alone
And lie awake, she should be asleep

If I could only breathe
If I could only breathe
If all of the good [?]
To fall all with me [?]

If she could only sleep
On the lines, she shines inside of me
And on the darkest days in the baddest ways
It calls to me, crawls the stormy sea

If she could only see
If she could only see
All the good world walks on her feet [?]

I hope I never get, I never get
I never get what I deserve

I hope I never get, I never get
I never get what I deserve

I hope I never get, I never get
I never get what I deserve

I hope I never get, I never get
I never get what I deserve

Take what the world wants
Fall onto me

If I could only breathe

Two ppl who inspire me daily in the pursuit of writing my own lyrics/songs is Troy Baker and Michael Malarkey. Troy's music was such an incredible find, I love both Sitting in the Fire and Moving around Bias. They each bring something different with their stories and the passion in Troy's vocals is so clear.

Troy is my hero! If only this album was as prominent as "Sitting in the Fire"...
