The band contains the heavy breakdowns and stance towards music of the new wave of deathcore bands, but their unique use of more epic, melodic keyboard driven passages put them in the front of the pack. Their music has been compared with Bleeding Through. Also, reviews, press, and others have stated that they incorporate an atmosphere of Scandinavian Black Metal. However, fans and the band themselves (in a video interview) would disagree with the label. They tend to mix American elements of metalcore and power metal with European symphonic death metal.
The first single from their major label debut, "The Impaler", was accompanied by a video that was banned by MTV for its language and content. The video was made to be like a hip-hop video, with a computer generated "epic metal" part at the end. There was alot of fan backlash at the video.

Winds Of Plague Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
We've got the world in the palm of our hands
Bustas fall down when we're barking commands
Atlas ain't got shit on our steez
Kick out the chair and get on your knees
We're not strangers, but we'll never be friends
Hope is dead; revelations begin
We're not strangers, but we'll never be friends
Lift your head; look around, can't you see?
We were born into a world so bleak
We claim this night, still standing tall
Casting shadows, you indulge concrete
A call to arms; we'll bring the revolution
A call to arms; pillage Eden, annihilate man
Going to take every word
And shove it down your fucking throat
Break down the walls; rebuild society
Break down the fucking walls; rebuild society
We've got the world in the palm of our hands
Bustas fall down when we're barking commands
Hope is dead; revelations begin
We're not strangers, but we'll never be friends
Arise; the sun is near
Witness an uprising; see our strength
Arise
; the end is near
Witness the downfall of the weak
The lyrics to Winds of Plague's song Reloaded can be interpreted as a call to arms for a rebellion against the establishment. The first line, "Tonight, the world is ours," sets the tone for a defiant, aggressive message that implies a sense of empowerment and control. Throughout the song, the lyrics suggest that the world and everything in it is at the mercy of the singer and their cohorts. The phrase "We've got the world in the palm of our hands" reinforces the idea that they have complete control over their environment and those around them.
The lyrics also seem to be a condemnation of society and its flaws. The line "We were born into a world so bleak" suggests a sense of disillusionment and disappointment with the state of the world. The call to "Break down the walls; rebuild society" implies a desire to tear down the existing power structures and start anew. The lyrics "Hope is dead; revelations begin" suggest a sense of impending doom, as if there is no hope left for the world as it currently exists.
Overall, the lyrics to Reloaded are filled with anger, defiance, and a sense of hopelessness. The song suggests a need for change and a desire for revolution against the powers that be.
