Winner (Korean: 위너; stylized as WINNER) is a five-member South Korea male group formed in 2013 by YG Entertainment Inc. The group's five members are Kang Seung-yoon (강승윤), Song Minho (송미노), Nam Taehyun (남태현), Kim Jinwoo (김진우), and Lee Seunghoon (이승훈).
The group was first introduced in the reality-survival program called Who is Next: WIN as "Team A." Team A and their adversaries Team B were both formed from trainees within YG Entertainment. The teams competed against each other in order to debut as the first YG boy group in eight years, following on the strong legacy of YG's previously debuted male group Big Bang. As a result of Team A's win on the "YG's WIN: WHO IS NEXT" finale on October 25, the title of "WINNER" was given to Team A after they won all three rounds of public voting.
After several delays, the group made their official Korean debut on August 15, 2014 at YG Family Concert, followed by their broadcast debut on August 17 with their first official stage on Inkigayo. The group made their Japanese debut on September 10 of that same year.

When CL released her solo "Baddest Female" everybody started bashing her saying that she was trying to be the female version of GD, and now that Mino released his solo MV everybody is bashing him too. GD influences in this kpop world is just too huge. Almost all groups came out with hip hop or swag style is being compared to him or Bigbang. In this case, Mino has a similar face to GD but his way of rapping is totally different. I really hate people comparing YG artists to one another ==

well, to be fair. i do think Mino's facial expressions n performing style has some GD n tae yang's shadow... but its not really his fault. he kinda in some way look similar to them (a lil) n also we have to take in the consideration that they were trained by the same company n probably the same bunch of ppl. Give Mino some time... he will slowly develop his own swag. he already looks n acts like a senior now. his stage presence is just awesome.

TheBlueClover2012 Seriously, Mino's style is not affected by the training at YG. He was already a complete rapper with his own style built from tons of underground experience when he came to YG in late 2012. 3 months later WIN began. What people think is similar to GD is basically what many Hip hop artists do. GD was special because he is himself special and has his own swag. It's not because he does a unique facial expression that nobody else does at all.
