Winner (Korean: 위너; stylized as WINNER) is a five-member South Korea male group formed in 2013 by YG Entertainment Inc. The group's five members are Kang Seung-yoon (강승윤), Song Minho (송미노), Nam Taehyun (남태현), Kim Jinwoo (김진우), and Lee Seunghoon (이승훈).
The group was first introduced in the reality-survival program called Who is Next: WIN as "Team A." Team A and their adversaries Team B were both formed from trainees within YG Entertainment. The teams competed against each other in order to debut as the first YG boy group in eight years, following on the strong legacy of YG's previously debuted male group Big Bang. As a result of Team A's win on the "YG's WIN: WHO IS NEXT" finale on October 25, the title of "WINNER" was given to Team A after they won all three rounds of public voting.
After several delays, the group made their official Korean debut on August 15, 2014 at YG Family Concert, followed by their broadcast debut on August 17 with their first official stage on Inkigayo. The group made their Japanese debut on September 10 of that same year.

Yoonie - our Yoonie is a 6-times king of the masked singer, a feat no other idol has ever been able to achieve. He is also the youngest masked king in recorded history. His time in king of masked singer was so legendary that he was likened to Ha Hyun Woo, a 9-time king of masked singer and a legend of his own right. Please watch all of his recent covers on King of Masked Singer and War of Villains, when you hear his voice it is like listening to the cracks of your heart. Yoon also acts and is the main composer of winner's songs. He is also deathly kind as he, along with the rest of the members, often admonishes fans for crossing the line or, more recently, for getting into fights with other fandoms, saying things like "why must we bring others down just to go up?" and "it hurts me to see you fight for me" (I'm paraphrasing here, folks). In the early threshold of their debut, he also confessed to adopting three African children. As of today, we still believe he is sponsoring them.

Mino - Mino is often hailed as the best idol rapper of all time. Forget twitter polls, this is the real deal. He joined SMTM4 and despite finishing second, his song there is still deemed as one of the best songs that ever came out from SMTM. His skills have been acknowledged and recognized by a slew of famous hip-hop individuals. Since then, he's been winning hip hop awards left and right for three straight years, despite not even having a solo album. When he finally had his solo album, he blew up, understandably. Today he is known as a style/hip-hop icon (even walked an LV show), having been named in a few global spread as one of the leading influential figures among the youth today. Despite the scrawls of tattoos and his scruffy/bad guy outer appearance, he is soft and squishy inside, full of artistic sensitivity and a particularly acute love for his mama, cat (jhonny) and his sister (song dana).
Jinwoo - The Matnae, the fake one, but the most sincere one. Our oldest oppar is now serving his military, and we are only counting days until we could see him again. Our eldest here has been called as one of the very few top visuals in Kpop - and get this - he got nothing done. In spite of his good looks, he is warm and good-hearted and is known to be the kindest out of all of them (also known to have donated a vast amount of money to important organizations). His anecdotes from fans are known to be the best - countless stories of him going out of his ways to please fans individually. He is also an intense introvert, the only one out of the winner members who hadn't cared over fashion and is also incredibly funny. He is sensitive and genuine and isn't scared to be vulnerable. He also had his solo - "Call Anytime" featuring Mino - and if you don't check it out right about now I will blast you out with my bare knuckles. The other members always take care of him and its the most heartwarming thing ever I love it brb as i cry. Also, he's called the Imjado Prince because he came from some remote island in Korea that nobody's heard of, but yet, look at his regal looks.
Seunghoon - Hoonie is our bias wrecker and the best dancer in recent millennia. In every group there is always that one person who deserves so much more and that the company did dirty. This is ours. He is tall, and broad-shouldered, and handsome - so much so that he was scouted by a famous model agency to be a model when he attended a Burberry show in some white country. He is witty and clever and has been repeatedly called by the other members as the one who "livened up the group". He is relentless and literally carried winner on his back during those problematic years, eventually even being dubbed as Deputy Lee. As much as Yoonie and Mino were responsible for creating the musical colour of Winner, Hoonie singlehandedly created the blueprint of who winner is today, as well as the dynamic between winner and fans. He is our father (I can't say daddy but know that's what I mean). Without him, we probably wouldn't have winner that we know of today <3
