Eventually Maarten, who was a key writer in the band, would convince Richie and Joe to find local members and keep this band going. So they recruited local guitar star and just crazy motherfucker in general Tony Meltdown. Tony was in a band called The Ninth Plague and basically shreds on the guitar. Shannon Sparky was brought in on drums, he was a logical choice. Shannon also played with Richie and Mad Joe in another band called Out To Win (aka MUSHMOUTH). The search was on for the bass player, and the only guy that could jam with these cats was Big Show Greg, a local trouble maker and drunk. The new line-up was complete and now the band is hitting the highways and playing killer street rock with heavy old school HC and OI influence. The members of this band have played and toured with other bands like Krutch, FCK, The Ninth Plague, Boxcutter (another side project of Mad Joe Black), Out To Win, Feeble and others, they are no new jack fuckos. They paid their dues and they do this music shit well. There is a full length CD out on Gangstyle Records, and now the fucking stellar release "DIE YOUNG" is out on Spook City Records. Take a listen and enjoy.

Bully
Wisdom In Chains Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
You're nothing but a bully
A bully in blue and you're always scared
You might fool some with a badge and a gun
But no one on one
No you can't fool me
You're not the good guys who serve and protect
You're just another gang wit your foot on my neck
But nobody's left to protect us from you
Hey bully
You're nothing but a bully
A bully ind blue and you're always scared
You might fool some with a badge and a gun
But no one on one
No you can't fool me
One on one in the street
, the bully in blue may seem intimidating with their badge and gun, but this song by Wisdom In Chains calls them out for what they truly are: bullies. The song speaks to the issue of police brutality and the violation of citizens' rights, as the "gang" with their "foot on [our] neck[s]" tramples on the very people they are supposed to protect. The singer of the song, however, sees past their façade and recognizes them for what they truly are: just another bully in blue.
The lyrics are straightforward and honest, with a simple message that is easily understood. They highlight the fear, anger, and frustration of the victim of the bully in blue, as they recognize that they are being oppressed and mistreated by someone who is supposed to be their protector. The repetition of the phrase "you're nothing but a bully" reinforces this message and makes it clear that there is no excuse for this kind of behavior.
Overall, the song speaks to the need for accountability, transparency, and justice when it comes to law enforcement. It is a reminder for all of us to be vigilant and to stand up against bullies in all forms, whether they are wearing a badge or not.
