Unfortuatly ,you can't hear this this great stuff on the sindicated national Italian radio networks anymore from at least 20 years . But there are some smaller regional oldies Fm stations that are specialized in 80's,that can count on a always growing nostalgic crowd ,listeners like me ,that that want to feel good with the music of the best decade: Viva the 80's !!

Se le dice Gapul, musica gapulera, fiesta gapulera etc, porque Gapul era el sello discografico que aca en Argentina edito mucho de estos exitos, Hay personas, como los locutores o dj que saben que se llama italo disco, euro disco, italo dance, tratan de aclararlo pero la costumbre ya esta muy arraigada por estos lares. and there are some crossovers in some songs . Italo is supposed to be
a progression of 70's Disco into a electronic form.
This sounds like synth Disco to me , where New Wave is more synth Rock

I personally agree - Italo Disco as a term should be used more springly as there were big variations in sound and content. No way this gem can be listed alongside some crap like Dan Harrow or somesuch!

Had that same question in the past and now i can tell this track is one of those perfect examples of Italo Disco sound. Is kinda raw, with the bpm beat, the english lirycs and the perform please, what an actitude and style. This may not be called New Wave.
