This is exactly the evolution I wanted all along. Elements of the past that identify Within Temptation in an updated song. The choir, the orchestrations, the solo violin, some growls, mixed with some electronica to make it fresh. The return of Sharon's higher soprano at the end brought me to tears. This is what I wanted.

I agree! This is what should have followed after The Unforgiving, in my opinion. But I realize it's not always that simple and I'm glad the band still arrived here in the end.
