(1) Wizzard was Roy Wood’s post- ELO project. Formed in Wood's hometown of Birmingham, Warwickshire in 1972, they made catchy, jazzy glam-rock hit singles like "Angel Fingers" and "See My Baby Jive" with a retro, Phil Spector-style "wall of sound" production. At the same time, they produced decidedly odd, almost avant-garde albums like Wizzard Brew. They remained active until around 1975.
(2) One of them is a 'blackened' heavy metal band from Finland. It enjoyed some success in Finland and Germany though even some fans wondered why they had taken the name of Roy Wood's famous band – the other z was actually added because the band didn't want to be confused with the German band Wizard. The band was founded by Teemu Kautonen as his solo-project in August 1995, and he handled all the instruments on the first demo, Teemu moved the band to Germany in April 1997 adding new local musicians CY and Daniel to the line-up. In August Teemu returned to Finland, but moved back to Germany in January 2001, and CY and Daniel came along again. Also a new guitarist Johnny joined the band.
Last known lineup:
Teemu Kautonen aka Hexenmeister - Vocals, originally also Bass & Guitars
CY aka Grobi - Drums
Daniel - Lead Guitars, Bass
Johnny - Rhythm Guitars

Do do do do Sham-a-lama-ding dong
Do do do do Sham-a-lama-ding dong
You got me running
All over this town
You got me running
You never let me down
But when I take a date with a girl or two
Better stop, stop
Can't get it through
Don't make me hop all over the world
You got me running
You treat me like a fool
You got me running
How can you be so cruel
But the guys on the street are putting me down
Better stop, stop running around
Don't hippity hop all over the world
Oh baby I wanna be kissed by you
Oh you can't resist
So please don't freeze me like a fool
You got me running
My love is out of bounds
You got me running
I love you but I found
The phone don't ring and no love letter
Stop, stop, I know I've better
Don't hippity hop all over the world
The lyrics to Wizzard's song "You Got Me Runnin'" speak of a person who is being treated as a fool by their lover. The person is deeply in love but is continually being pushed to their limits by their lover's games. The first verse sees the singer being pushed around by their lover, who always has them running around town. The second verse shows the singer's frustration when trying to go out on a date with someone else, but their lover won't let them enjoy themselves. The chorus repeats the title line, and the frustration is evident as the singer pleads with their lover to stop treating them so poorly.
In the bridge, the singer expresses their desire to be with their lover but asks them not to treat them like a fool. The final verse reveals that the singer's lover doesn't even call or write love letters. The song ends with the singer begging their lover to stop playing around and to be with them.
The lyrics of "You Got Me Runnin'" have a very upbeat, catchy tune that gives it a playful feel. At the same time, the lyrics are a bit melancholy and showcase the frustration of being in love with someone who is causing emotional pain. The song's lyrics and music perfectly balance the emotional tension and playfulness that comes with relationships.
