The score of this Contredanse was sent from Rome to Salzburg by Leopold Mozart with an accompanying letter (14 April 1770) containing some suggestions from Mozart as to how it should be danced. Mozart was an avid dancer himself! People often don't know that Mozart danced often on his own Minuets, German Dances and Contredanses.

Amusing! I am a big fan of his contredanses.
