Despite his short life, his rapid pace of composition resulted in more than 800 works of virtually every Western classical genre of his time. Many of these compositions are acknowledged as pinnacles of the symphonic, concertante, chamber, operatic, and choral repertoire. Mozart is widely regarded as among the greatest composers in the history of Western music, with his music admired for its "melodic beauty, its formal elegance and its richness of harmony and texture".
Born in Salzburg, then in the Holy Roman Empire and currently in Austria, Mozart showed prodigious ability from his earliest childhood. Already competent on keyboard and violin, he composed from the age of five and performed before European royalty. His father took him on a grand tour of Europe and then three trips to Italy. At 17, he was a musician at the Salzburg court but grew restless and traveled in search of a better position.
While visiting Vienna in 1781, Mozart was dismissed from his Salzburg position. He stayed in Vienna, where he achieved fame but little financial security. During his final years there, he composed many of his best-known symphonies, concertos, and operas. His Requiem was largely unfinished by the time of his death at the age of 35, the circumstances of which are uncertain and much mythologized.

This performance great conductor and splendid orchestra play with exquisite skill and breathtaking technique and specutacular attire is beyond description , inspirational and comfortable to the ear and the mind .
Without Mozart and his great performers and genius conductors such as these performers and conductor ,
the classical music world would have been very lonely and insipid

Beautifully phrased Mozart.... a superb orchestra... precision, tone, clarity, ensemble, they have everything.
@antoniomarcuccio5487
Solisti bravissimi tutto da elogiare direttore Eccellente
@ultradmann2367
I feel like this is a performance a long time coming. I've wanted to hear them play this for quite some time now because I really love their wind and brass section. It's played so effortlessly and the embellishments in the 3rd movement for each individuals variation is literally the icing on the cake! Bravo!
@adineli
My favorite orchestra: always such musical playing, so refined, with so much contagious joy!
@harryhagan5937
Faultlessly and heartily played. Perfectly in tune. Perfect in every way. What a delight. Thank you all. I adore this orchestra. A blessing.
@josemariaortegajaen177
Thank you for keeping the music alive, no matter the pandemia nor the restrictions for performing music with people inside the theatre. You all the musicians, with conductor Orozco-Estrada, are showing us that it's possible and necessary to keep on and keep the passion, and share it with all the people around the world. It's a gift for all of us at the other side and the best word I can say is THANK YOU!
Gracias desde Cádiz, en España, donde la música se vive y se siente de mil maneras, pero todas con el corazón
@aloisschonangerer7861
Es ist einfach eine Freude dieses wunderbare Orchester zu erleben.
@brahmsianer5899
One of my most favourite pieces since I'm 4 years old or so. They play marvellous, absolutely brilliant. Not every rubato, appoggiatura and trill was nessecary, but great to hear a fresh and fun interpretation like this.
@jeancolapierrearmande3326
One of my Mozart’s most beloved pieces.....so much love and joy incorporated! And wonderfully played by these excellent soloists AND orchestra! Well done everybody! Great result. Such a pity no audience.....hopefully this will be over soon.
@gmahlman
Heard this piece before but this I believe is THE way it should sound. Perfect tempos and excellent ensemble interplay. No 'off to the races' approach here that we usually have to endure.
