Happy Face
Wolfmother Lyrics

Everything's beginning so small
We were going around and around
And following the only sound
Everything falls into place when she puts on her happy face
Everything falls into place when she goes to her happy place for me
For me
Listening to nature's call
Watching as the trees grew tall
They thought they're above it all
Never thinking they could fall
Everything falls into place when she puts on her happy face
Everything falls into place when she goes to her happy place for me
Everything falls into place when she puts on her happy face
Everything falls into place when she goes to her happy place for me
The lyrics of Wolfmother's song Happy Face seem to focus on the idea of finding peace and contentment in life. The opening lines, "We were on the rise of it all, everything's beginning so small," suggest the feeling of starting out on a journey, perhaps in pursuit of a goal or a dream. The next line, "We were going around and around, and following the only sound," implies the desire to find direction and purpose in life.
The chorus repeats the idea that everything falls into place when the person being addressed puts on their "happy face" and goes to their "happy place." This could be interpreted as a reminder to take time to focus on the positive aspects of life and to find joy in the present moment, even in the face of difficulties or challenges. The idea of listening to nature and watching as the trees grow tall further reinforces this theme of finding peace and contentment in the natural world.
Overall, the song's message seems to be one of hope, encouraging listeners to keep moving forward and to find happiness in the journey. The repetition of the lines in the chorus reinforces this message, suggesting that it's a mantra to be repeated when life feels overwhelming or uncertain.
