The trio began writing & recording songs with the idea of possibly licensing them out or getting them to other artists, but it evolved into much more when the songs began to smolder.
"It got to the point where we looked at each other and said, 'You know, this is too good to give away’,” says Scallions. “We need to do this for ourselves."
After YOGI LONICH (Buck Cherry, Chris Cornell) added some smokin’ lead guitar parts, & bass player BRAD STEWART (Shinedown) & drummer KEN SCHALK (Fuel, Candiria) joined the picture, WORLD FIRE BRIGADE became a no holds barred rock n’ fuckin’ roll band.
"It's much heavier than anything I ever did with Fuel," Scallions says of WORLD FIRE BRIGADE's sound. "We're doing a lot of stuff in lower tones which is a first for me."
And with two front men in the mix, the music is full of strong harmonies & angst driven melodies that perfectly complement the heavy guitar tones. Scallions & Danielsen’s voices mesh together beautifully, at times adding a perfect chaos that will make your blood boil and your toes curl.
The recently completed WORLD FIRE BRIGADE debut album will be released in mid/late 2011.
