Change The World
Wynonna Judd Lyrics

I'd pull one down for you
Shine it on my heart, so you could see the truth
That this love inside, is everything it seems
But for now I find, it's only in my dreams
[Chorus]
That I can change the world
You would think my love was somethin' good
Baby, if I could change the world
If I could be a queen, even for a day
I'd take you as my king, I'd have it no other way
And our love would rule, in this kingdom that we made
'Til then I'll be a fool, wishin' for the day
[Chorus]
The lyrics in "Change the World" by Wynonna Judd are filled with longing and a desire to make a difference in the life of the person she loves. The opening lines, "If I could reach the stars, I'd pull one down for you," show just how much she wishes she could do something extraordinary for this person. She wants to shine the star on her heart so that they can see the truth: the love she feels is real and deep. She knows that this love is everything it seems, but right now, it's just in her dreams.
The chorus speaks about how the singer wishes she could change the world for her loved one. She wants to be the sunlight in their universe, and wants them to know that her love is something steadfast and good. If only she could change the world, then this person would know what her love truly means. Throughout the song, the singer wishes she were someone or something else just to be with the person she loves. If she could be a queen for a day, she would take them as her king and rule in a kingdom they made. Alas, for now, she remains a fool, wishing for the day when they can be together and her love can truly change their world.
