When love starts talkin
Wynonna Judd Lyrics

I thought I knew what it was all about
Then love started talkin'
Your love started talkin'
I had my mind on the open road
I thought I knew where I wanted to go
Then love started talkin'
[Chorus:]
When love starts talkin'
You got no choice
But to shut up and listen
It's a powerful voice
Open the door
And let it walk in
That's what you gotta do
When love starts talkin'
I thought I had it wrapped up neat and nice
I didn't need nobody's advice
Then love started talkin'
Your love started talkin'
[Chorus:]
I thought I heard it all before
I thought I didn't need to hear no more
Then love started talkin'
Your love started talkin'
Your love started talkin'
Your love started talkin'
Your love started talkin'
Love started talkin'
The lyrics of the song "When Love Starts Talkin'" by Wynonna Judd is a representation of a person's realization that love can change everything in their life. The singer in the lyrics thought they had everything under control and had planned their life out to the tee, but then they fall in love, and they realize that they don't have much control over the situation anymore. Love is powerful, and it can change the way a person thinks, feels, and behaves.
The opening stanza of the song presents the singer's point of view towards life before they fell in love. The second stanza talks about the singer's aspirations, which they thought they had under control until they encountered love. The chorus then reflects the singer's understanding that love's voice is too powerful to ignore. The singer has to listen to it and let it take over for better or for worse. The third stanza reflects the singer's self-confidence that they had everything under control, but that too changes once love starts talking.
