Using Xcode 13.4.1, if I right-click on the VStack there is no "Aspect Ratio" option.

However, if I hold Control and then click and drag from the inside of the VStack outward (with the glowing blue line it almost seems like I'm summoning the context menu), then I do see "Aspect Ratio" as well the centering options.

Great Lesson!
But what are you doing at 9:15 when you say "we just need to feed the message...". I am assuming some type of keyboard shortcut? I keep getting an error that says "Initialization of immutable value 'message' was never used;".
Could you please explain how you do this step? It is unclear what you are doing for complete beginners.

When i remove the "X" in title of the button ( @ 1:50 ) it clears the font settings, making the "X" and "O" back to the small size when i run the game.

If you great an image set so the same images but in different sizes for scaling. then instead of giving the button a title, give it an image. I don't see any reason that all logic wont work the same.

How did you create a black line in between two buttons ? or how did you create two vertical black lines and two horizontal black lines inside the stackview ?

00:50 So the vertical stack view we set the back ground color to black.
Then we add the buttons change them to have a background of white. Then give the vertical and horizontal stack views a spacing of say 5. And Viola.

You might need to change the "style" attribute of your buttons from plain to default. This way you can change the color and font without a placeholder.

How do I fix the placement of the Turn Label (X/O switch)? When following the tutorial the Turn Label is on the top of my screen instead of below the "Turn" string label?

Placement issue is likely one of the constraints isn't quite right.

Storyboard constraints can be fiddly.

I run into a problem with setting the background color to black, tried a bunch of stuff nothing worked. I looked it up, one way you can do it, is to embed the stackView into a view, and set that view's background color to black. and it Worked!! If you run into the same problem, try that out. You'll still get a constraint error so deal with that too. luckily Xcode fixes that with a click (that point error thingy).

Maybe the text for state normal of the button isn't getting set back to an empty string so ""

@Code With Cal actually, it somehow resets the buttons with the "x" and "o" but they are not totally removed, they just get back to a blue coloured and you can only replace them with a new "x" or "o" in a gray colour, what I'm trying to say is that the board is never gets empty ( I'm new in this, so I can't express it very clearly).

The short answers is it could be a number of things.

First I would check that the reset function is indeed being called by putting in a break point.

Then you want to check if each button in the is being set back to empty.

You can try to change the "tint" attribute of your buttons to match the background (change it to white) and the x's and o's should disappear with each reset.

If you have a small bug and you know roughly where it's happening.
Try adding a break point and stepping through.

But basically we are trying to set every button back to nil

See when I do it either what will show in the squares is “button “ and if I just place a space in there it won’t show anything at all. Also doing the code exactly does not work to erase the x or o for the reset.
