It's Goin' Down
X-Ecutioners ft Mike Shinoda & Mr Hahn Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Do you think it's worth holding out'
I mean I've heard some pretty ugly things about those guys
Ugly stories
"Watch them flee, watch them flee"
"Rap up"
"Watch them flee"
"And you do it like this"
It's going down
The rhythm projects 'round the next sound
Reflects the complex hybrid dialect now
Detect the mesh of many elements compressed down
The melting pot of a super-futureesque style
The combination of a vocal caress
With lungs that gasp for breath
From emotional stress
With special effects
And a distorted collage
Carefully lodged between beats of rhythmic barrage
It's going down
The logical progression on a the time line
The separation narrowed down to a fine line
To blur the edges so they blend together properly
Take you on an audible odyssey
Now it's going down
It's going down
The logical progression on a the time line
The separation narrowed down to a fine line
To blur the edges so they blend together properly
Take you on an audible odyssey
Now it's going down
"Put put, put it up"
"I said it goes like this"
"And you do it like this"
It's going down
"Put put, put it up"
"I said it goes like this"
"And you do it like this"
It's going down
Once again it is
Composed sentences all together venomous
The four elements of natural force
Projected daily through the sound of the source
Everybody on board with this blend
The sword with the pen
The mightiest is the weapons
Swinging right from the chin
The elevate of mental states
Long gone with the wind
To defend men for shoddy imitation pretends
It's going down
Stalence emulation readily
Trekking through the weaponry
Of the pure pedigree
Cleverly seeing through whatever is ahead of me
Whatever the weather be
We invent the steadily
It's going down to sub-terrestrial high
I rhyme regiment that's calling the shots
Execution of collaborative plots
Ready to bring the separation of style to a stop
It's going down
The logical progression on a the time line
The separation narrowed down to a fine line
To blur the edges so they blend together properly
Take you on an audible odyssey
Now it's going down
"Put put, put it up"
"I said it goes like this"
"And you do it like this"
It's going down
"X-men 'bout to blast of world wide"
Yo it's request only *scratches*
"X-men 'bout to blast of world wide"
It's built from scratch
Album in stores soon
"'Bout to blast off world wide"
"And you do it like this"
It's going down
"Put put, put it up"
"I said it goes like this"
"And you do it like this"
It's going down
"Put put, put it up"
"I said it goes like this"
"And you do it like this"
It's going down

The lyrics to “It's Goin Down” by X-Ecutioners ft Mike Shinoda & Mr Hahn tell a story of a confrontation between the singer and an unknown group of people who are threatening them. They are considering whether it's worth it to fight back or not. The song's chorus is an urgent warning that the situation is escalating and "it's going down." The verses are a call to action, encouraging the listener to stand up for themselves and to use the combination of vocal and musical elements to make their voice heard.
The song's title refers to the idea that something big and intense is about to happen, and that the rhythms and beats of the music itself are signaling this event. The lyrics themselves are filled with references to the power of music to communicate, to inspire, and to help people from different backgrounds and cultures come together. The X-Ecutioners themselves were known for their innovative use of turntables and other instruments to create complex and layered soundscapes that defied easy categorization.
At its core, "It's Goin Down" is a statement of intent, a declaration that the singer is ready and willing to fight for what they believe in. The song's fast-paced beats and urgent lyrics are meant to inspire listeners to take action as well, to find their own voice and use it to make a difference in the world.

So many DJs have died over the last 3 years I can't think of all of them off the top of my head but Dj spinbad and Kay Slay the street sweeper are two that come to mind. Hip hop artists of any kind over the last 3 years. I'm wondering if the CIA gave DMX some covid laced crack cocaine. Wait, that's not what DMX was talking about when he said "X is gonna give it to ya" right? Preposterous that he would die from covid. That's like saying: N,o RZA didn't have anything to do with Old dirty's death
