XL5 Lyrics

mä en oo se
mä en oo
mä en oo sun X
Käyt mun taskuilla kun oon suihkussa
joku toinen joskus satutti sua
nyt joka tilanteessa epäilet mua
on joku toinen joskus pettänyt sua
En oo sun X
Kannat vanhan suhteen taakka
sun on aika siirtyy eteenpäin
Mä en oo se
mä en oo se
mä en oo
mä en oo sun X ...(x3)
The song "X" by XL5 seems to be about a person who is wrongly accused of something by their partner. The singer repeats the phrase "mä en oo se," which means "I am not it" or "I am not that person," indicating their innocence. They express frustration about their partner's lack of trust and their assumption that the singer is like previous partners who have hurt them. The singer urges their partner to start with a clean slate and not to blame them for past mistakes that they did not make.
The second part of the song seems to be the singer trying to prove their worth to their partner. They promise to be different from the previous partner and to give the relationship their all. They encourage their partner to let go of the past and give them a chance. The repetition of the phrase "mä en oo sun X" further emphasizes the singer's desire to distance themselves from any wrongdoing.
Overall, the song seems to be a plea for understanding and trust in a relationship. The singer feels unfairly accused and wants the opportunity to prove their love and commitment to their partner.

Fireball sung by Don Spencer.
I wish I was a spaceman
the fastest guy alive
I'd fly you 'round the universe
in Fireball XL5.
Way out in space together,
conquerors of the sky.
My heart would be a fireball, a fireball
Every time I gazed into your starry eyes.
We'd take the path to Jupiter
and maybe very soon
we'd cruise along the milky way
and land upon the moon.
To a wonderland of stardust
we'd zoom our way to Mars.
My heart would be a fireball, a fireball
'Cause you would be my Venus of the stars.
But though I'm not a spaceman,
famous and renowned
I'm just a guy that's down to earth
with both feet on the ground.
It's all imagination,
I'll never reach the stars.
My heart is still a fireball, a fireball
Everytime I gaze into your starry eyes.
Fireball, fireball
Everytime I gaze into your starry eyes.
Fireball, fireball
Everytime I gaze into your starry eyes✝️

I’m 63 and this theme song has been stuck in my head since I was a kid. I’m thrilled to find this. !

I'm 64 in Romania and I really miss the time when I used to watch this series, on a Russian Black / White TV, with lamps ... Where is Zoony 🐵?
@andrewcoates6641
Me too but the same episode was on Talking TV channel on Saturday, if you can get the channel I think that it’s the start of a series of 60’s shows and it’s easier to watch on a full screen than on a monitor or phone screen. I’m in England so I hope that all who are fans can watch it.

I'm so excited to find these online. My friends thought I was crazy or dreamed this show up lol. I kept saying I remembered this show as a kid. I LOVED it. So cool to see it again!

Same here, my son wouldn't believe there was such show in those times

You have described my plight exactly. I loved this show as a child in rural WV. Once as a young adult I woke yelling loudly "FIREBALL XL5". Scared the girl I was with. Snippets of my early childhood are roaring back, the curved takeoff ramp, the rockets falling off after liftoff and others.
@RayPointerChannel
@Vibha Deshpande and Vikki Colbert, people not around 60 years ago tend view things only from what they have been exposed to. One of the amazing things about these old shows is the intelligence that went into the production both in craftsmanship, as well as the writing and acting. Today, everything is a parody or derivative of "impressions" of what they have been exposed to without any depth or understanding. But most of all, there isn't much originality. Just a lot of inane and incessant dialogue with weak story material, if there is any.
