Ximena Sariñana
El calor de el sol
El dolor en los pies
Tengo que acostarme
Nada que perder
La familia atrás
El secreto que guardo
No descansaré se que llegaré
Camino lento
Lo que soy se va descociendo
Las raices quedan al centro
Lejos de aquí estrenaré
Cambio de piel
Los estragos del tí
La perdida de fe
Tengo que concentrarme
No descansare se que llegaré
Camino lento
Lo que soy se va descociendo
Las raices quedan al centro
Lejos de aquí estrenaré
Cambio de piel
Nunca supe que estaba bien o mal
Pero siempre es facil dejar atrás
Si lo que me llama es un lugar
Cuanto faltará
Camino lento
Lo que soy se va descociendo
Las raices quedan al centro
Lejos de aquí estrenaré
Cambio de piel
"Cambio de Piel" is a song by Mexican singer-songwriter Ximena Sariñana. The lyrics talk about leaving the past behind and starting fresh, like shedding old skin and growing a new one. The physical pain and exhaustion from walking slow serve as a metaphor for the emotional pain and the feeling of being lost that the person is experiencing. The person is leaving their past love, family, and secrets behind to pursue a new life. The central idea is that the person cannot rest until they find what they are looking for, and they know that they will get there, no matter how slow they may be moving.
