Soon after their conception, OMD became an integral part of a sect of Los Angeles underground hip hop based around Midcity's groundbreaking Goodlife Cafe Open Mic that spawned innovators and hit makers from The Freestyle Fellowship to The Pharcyde to Skee-Lo to Jurassic 5. With underground classics such as "I Am Still" and "Money Is Meaningless" their debut EP "Exitos Y Mas Exitos" became an inspiration to thousands around the world.
Armed only with grassroots promotion, intense touring and uncontrollable creativity, OMD became a staple of west coast underground hip hop. Since his initial forays into music with OMD, Xololanxinxo has recorded numerous solo albums including "Tapes from a Stolen Car (The Victim)", "Marketing the Monsters", "People Kill the Person" and "Names".
Today Xololanxinxo continues to create innovative and provocative music with a band called AlltheDeadCholos that he created with psychedelic fusion musicians and multi-instrumentalists.

To the hand of a best friend...
He held a gun that was mine
And said we'd meet some women in a hotel
And left me there to die
He stopped by my mothers house on his way home
And left some money for my funeral
He held my moms tight
And said god bless his soul
But guess what?
I didn't die
I guess you didn't expect to see me so soon
Pleading my absence to the dark side of the moon
What about everything I helped you through?
Fuck that
We were deeper more just like brothers
You left me suffering in a hotel room
Bleeding and unconscious excepting that I met my doom
And still you turned and I remember you
The tears they burn
There's no forgiving you
I loved you like my own blood
Trusted you in my home
Was that not enough?
I know that times were rough
But only together could we stay tough
Back to back is how we bust
I remember when we were seventeen
Cornered in an alley way
I sacrificed my parents van
Just to help us get away
We almost died that day
I'd give my life I'd say
But for some money that we could have split
You ride me
And with some honeys major hit
But like always
Didn't unload the clip
It was your woman that helped me place this bid
Pick up your face you bitch
Your lucky that you have kids
Or I would fill you up with this lead
While I was pistol whipping his head
You stupid fool
Kill me you tried to prize from my demise
Now look who's in your eyes
Now look who's getting what
Its over!
Never again
Never again
You lost your one friend
Your only brother
Motherfucker
You know this rage came over me
You know this rage came over me
The lyrics of Xololanxinxo’s song “Payback” tell the story of betrayal between two best friends that reveals the dark side of human behavior. The first lines recount a near-death experience of the singer, which happened due to the actions of his best friend. The friend took the singer's gun and led him to a hotel where he left him to die. The following lines illustrate the actions that the friend took after leaving the singer to die. He visited the singer's mother, cried with her, and even left money for the funeral. However, ironically, the singer didn't die, and he is now seeking revenge on his betrayer.
In the chorus of the song, the singer questions the loyalty and sacrifices he made for his supposed friend. He compares their relationship to that of brothers and reveals that he trusted him in his home. However, his best friend left him to die, leading to the singer's need for payback.
The song tells a story of how people can be deceitful and treacherous, even when you trust them with your life.
