Known as "Queen of the Baixinhos", Xuxa built the largest Ibero-American children's entertainment empire. In the early 1990s, she presented television programs in Brazil, Argentina, Spain and the United States simultaneously, reaching around 100 million viewers daily.

In her main works as a singer, she has released 35 studio albums and 23 video albums that have sold over 50 million copies, becoming one of the record-selling artists in the world. The albums Xou da Xuxa (1986), Xegundo Xou da Xuxa (1987), Xou da Xuxa 3 (1988) and 4º Xou da Xuxa (1989) are among the best-selling albums in the history of the Brazilian music industry, with the third being considered the most profitable children's album of all time by Guinness World Records. Over the course of her music career, she has won two Grammys out of a total of six nominations. Xuxa is the actress with the highest average audience since the resumption of Brazilian cinema, with more than 37 million spectators. Lua de Cristal (1990), his highest-grossing film, sold 4.1 million tickets, making it one of the most watched Brazilian films.
