Little Boy
Y-LUK-O Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Leaning against the car
Big brown eyes
As he looked at me
Observing
Demanding
What next step I would dare to do
Waitress serves the tablet
And her beautiful ass
Wonder how it feeled if I fucked here
Sit back
A cup of coffee in my hand
Enjoy
The late sunday morning
With the smell makes me smile upon the world
And its misery
With a smile
The boy walks away
Does he know me that well?
Sit back...
The lyrics to Y-LUK-O's "Little Boy" depict a seemingly innocent encounter between the singer and a small boy. The boy is portrayed as staring at the singer with "big brown eyes" and "observing" him, creating a sense of expectancy and anticipation in the air. The singer then goes on to describe himself gazing at a waitress from behind, taking notice of her "beautiful ass," and fantasizing about having sex with her. The contrast between the two scenes creates a sense of discomfort and confusion as the listener contemplates the singer's seemingly inappropriate thoughts.
As the lyrics continue, the singer shifts back to a more relaxed state, enjoying a cup of coffee and the pleasant aroma of a late Sunday morning. However, the boy reappears in the final line, prompting the listener to question the singer's relationship with him: "does he know me that well?" This could be interpreted in various ways - perhaps the singer recognizes the boy from his neighborhood, or perhaps the singer is reflecting on his own behavior and wondering if the boy can sense something off about him.
Overall, "Little Boy" presents a complex and provocative exploration of human behavior and desire. It forces the listener to confront uncomfortable questions about sexuality, morality, and the nature of interpersonal relationships.
