YN Jay’s older brother Gabe would inspire him to start rapping age 10—recording eight to ten songs a day in his early teen hood. After Gabe’s unfortunate passing Jay would start his music career, releasing his first project MVP in November 2019. He began to gain traction in late 2020 with his song "Triple S" featuring rapper Louie Ray. His songs "Perc & Sex" and "Coochie (feat.
