Just based on experience, those teenage girl dream boyfriend...they are let downs. I am speaking from experience. I was one of those boys a lot of girls from nearby school liked back in high school. (And I mean a lot, I had boys from my school telling me a certain girl like me at least once a week. I had girls blushing when they saw me and so on) We are nowhere even as good compare to what girls thought of. I went to an all boy school, therefore, those girls are all from nearby school. But in reality, I was loud, I was rude, I was really crazy and I didn't do well in school. I got an nut bag crazy controlling mother. I had trouble at home. I had problem at home, so I don't like going home and I was always tire, because I was always tire I was always cranky and moody and really crazy and my grade wasn't good, because I was always tired. I was anything but a prince charming.
But, girls build up this idea in their head what I am like, most of them we probably never spoke. These situation are really just girls confusing lust to be love, and that lead them to build up a total unrealistic image about a guy, they don't know. None of the girls that actually know me well like me in that way. And you can tell it is just lust, it was so obvious, when I was 14 a lot of girls like me, then I started getting a lot of pimples, no girls even noticed I am alive, afterwards my pimple clear up by the time I was 16, a lot of girls started notice me again. It was so obviously lust and girls build up these prince charming idea about their high school crush, it is usually 110% removed from reality. I know this other guy, similar case when I was in high school, he had similar experience. There is an old saying [Don't meet your hero] that is 110% true.
This is why back in school, we always used to reject the girls. Firstly, we know the girls are just confusing lust to be love, it be very stupid to get tied down, (it reminded me of this sitcom scene, the man getting divorce said when he was a high school quarterback, his wife (then girlfriend) looked at him with admiration in her eyes, 30 years later he is a bold fat middle age guy working in an office, the once admiring look in her eyes turned into radiating heat of contempt) In addition, we know we are not anywhere like the image that the girls build up in their head and once we get to know each other 9/10 times it will be a total let down. This is the two reason, those boys all the girls had a crush on back in high school, they always doesn't seem to like girls very much and prefer to just reject the girls.
Also, they always expected a commitment from guys like this. It is similar to a guy ask you out on a date and he proposed on the 2nd date, it is crazy. Naturally, we are not going to play along with this BS and then girl get very upset. So, if you don't want dealing with this drama, it is best to reject the girl in the first place and don't date her. So, back then I always rejected those girls. The only other boy from my school that was in the same position, a lot of girls like, he rejected all the girls, also.
Trust me, a teenage girl's high school crush is never even half as good compare to how you build it up, in your head. It is like teenage girls chasing after boy bands, it is all in your head.
PS: Also, some of those girls get kind of scary, because they are a bit stalker like, when you look at it from the perspective of the other side. And you need to remember, regardless of how you build him up in your head, in reality he is a 16 years old boy. So, you know how they react under the circumstances.
