Miles Zimmer-Benz and not only that, it's relief too, relief that you're not so completely isolated and alone in this world save a few wandering merchants and ganon looming around the castle. There's actually villages with more than 5 people to talk to, you don't have to hard win all your food with the exception of milk, butter, and sugar - gotta buy those. I also love how almost all Stables have a different recipe pinned on the wall, there to give you an idea to try

This is such a welcoming song to hear after a night of being attacked by seemingly every monster in the game. You’re just walking, and then you hear the song fade in, and then you see the giant horse head, and the light from the torches inside. This truly is a “welcome home” song.

God, this song really makes me happy. BoTW is a game that holds just, so much emotion in the little things. This is such a lonely game. Link just woke up, has no recollection of himself or the people around him, and he sees firsthand the damage that Calamity Ganon has wreaked upon his home.
He is suddenly hunkered down with the weight of regaining control of the Divine Beasts, avenging these great Champions who he doesn't remember at all, saving the literal Princess of Hyrule, and Hyrule itself. Link is an empty slate at this point, searching for memories and hints of 100 years past. He has to go about his journey alone, because he is the chosen hero. He is the only person who can bring Hyrule back from the brink. He is constantly reminded of the innocent people who he couldn't save. What if he fails? The fate of the entire world is in his hands, and he's running out of time. He HAS to accomplish this, or the whole world falls into despair. There is no room for failure.
But, eing able to ride up into a cozy stable brimming with just, people, safety and hope is one of the best feelings in the world, probably. Having people greet you and offer a warm place to sleep and care for your steed like you're just another traveler is so comforting :)

I feel like there aren’t enough people who appreciate the detail of how the smoke clouds rising from stables always comes out in pairs of two, unlike other smoke signals in the game. One puff of smoke from each nostril of the horse head chimney 😊

My favorite track in the game so far. I try playing along to it on my acoustic at times. Really relaxing, peaceful tune that makes me think of my two little dachshunds. Have them sitting on your lap while playing for added affect.

Having stal horses boarded is no less ludicrous than leaving the horse surrounded by Guardians just outside Hyrule Castle and forcing the stable hands to go retrieve your horse, for sure XD

I just started playing recently, and one of the most magical experiences I've had so far took place at a stable. I managed to find and ride a horse to a stable (the riverside stable I think?) but at that point in the game I had no Rupees. I returned later on and found the horse I left there, who I assumed I would never see again, had waited there for me. It was really sweet.

I think Nintendo achieved exactly what they were going for with this theme, because when I first played through this game and came upon my first stable (the Dueling Peaks Stable), this theme made me feel so welcome and warm and cozy, and as I continued on towards Kakariko Village, I had my camera facing towards the stable, as if fondly looking over my shoulder as I left. I loved the stables from minute one. :)

The best parts of the stables are that enemies can't walk in and kill me when I'm at the stables (at least I have never seen an enemy at the stables) and that #cutenessoverload doggy!!!

That's because(obviously) the stables are meant to be safe zones for Link.No enemy will chase Link towords the stable(come to think of it,some enemies are nowhere near them)Even Guardians won't attack you there,they just stare.

in botw i spent a lot of time at the dueling peaks stable at the beginning. i wasn't very good at the game and it felt like such a treacherous journey to get there from the great plateau lol. the stable felt like such a safe and comforting space, and this song felt so warm and welcoming. that stable became my home base for a little while I caught horses by the swamp and explored the plain and ran away from stray Guardians. It felt like such a cool full-circle moment when I got the last memory and it was near the place that i spent so much time in and associated strongly with the beginning of my journey.

Reminds me of my first horse, food. Then she accidentally died by falling off a cliff, so I got a second horse named E-girl. She died by, uh, a laser beam. Last one was named E-boy, and I made sure this one was alive! We finished it together :)

I played the game knowing literally nothing about it. 2 Years after the launch. After the great plateau i thought that everyone was Dead in Hyrule. Meaning i expected no alive NPCs. Then i ran into the first stable. And suddenly there were Hylians. I was so surprised and happy after Roaming hyrule for several hours all alone. I just stand there and enjoyed the Company as well as the music for a while.
