To me if the earth dragon used the hearth to perform milk way to summon the souls of dead dragons and use his earth power to transfer the souls to some dragon eggs or something like that.
We know most of the alive dragons are dead but it’s never mention at least that I can recall what happened to eggs of dragons the one who haven’t been born yet.
Something like the eragon book series where the king has a tone of eggs to draw power from but they are in a dormant stat.
Something like that once the souls are infused into the eggs the hearth won’t be need anymore and the age of the dragons could actually began

i dunno what to think honestly kinda feeling like Selene will get delt a serious injury by Ignia and then get defeated by the guilds or Selene and Ignia are going to fight to the death since I don't see the point of having her escape again since Diablos is working for her more out of fear from what i remember so i feel if she gets heavily weakened by Ignia they should be able to take her down

She’s probably gonna be around for a while cause in the character voting thing she came third and hiro will probably keep her around cause people live her character and her goals fall in like with the protagonist goal in some ways so she might be off help when ignia’s plan takes action
