After winning the said title, Star Records launched Yeng's debut album entitled "Salamat", containing 10 songs, of which 7 were Yeng's original compositions. Her album reached "Gold" two weeks after its release and was later certified "Platinum" after a month, followed by a "3x Platinum" certification after several months of release.
When Star Records saw the undeniable potential of the preppy-rocker, they instantly produced her follow-up effort. On February 28, 2008, her second album "Journey" was launched. The album contains 12 tracks, some of which were written by Yeng herself. The album reached "Gold" after several months.
"Lapit", her all-Filipino third studio Album was released digitally via Star Records Official Website on October 9, 2009 then later released in physical CD format Nationwide. A week after, the album was pulled out due to some technical errors on the album's track listing and was consequently re-released on November 1, 2009.

Yeng and Ryan's story seems like ours with my first love.
I knew her 4 months before I entered military school. I was 21 then.
Then I started my training. But in just a month, I heard a news that she was already into someone, and that guy was also a graduating cadet in the same academy I was in.
And since she was my first love and I left her so early (to pursue my childhood dream and for our future as well), it triggered me to get out and come back to her.
It sounds stupid to sacrifice my dream just for a woman. But at time time, I believed that I had to sacrifice my dream that was so valuable to me 'cause I believe there are things that are more important. So I resigned from Philippine Military Academy after only more than 3 months for her (well actually no one until now knows that the reason why I resigned in PMA was of her).
So then, I came home. But I did not talk to her, I did not meet her, neither any response I made from her calls and messages 'cause I thought she and my upperclass were already in love with each other not knowing that the reason of their communication was for her to have an access to me and have an update of my daily life inside the military school.
Just two weeks ago, we finally had our closure after 5 years. I explained to her my side. I told her that I was not talking to her because I thought they made love and my reason why I didn’t fight for her because I saw that her future will become more secured with that guy, and she didn’t deserve me; her side, she said, she was doing it for me and she let me saw all the letters she made for me and her proofs of her love for me.
By the way, she is now a successful business woman, and the guy pursued her. They are now engaged.
Yeap, it feels so sad even up ‘til today.
Well, perhaps this is the reality of life where flaws are bound to happen.
We may just have to accept we’re defeated and continue with our own journey, and smile while we could.
