I am coming to the conclusion that Ennio Morricone may be one of the greatest composers of all time, worthy of being ranked with that pantheon of greats that includes Beethoven, Mozart, Schubert, Handel and other giants of musical history. Being known as the man who wrote musical scores for films will likely prevent any such official recognition but listening to the sounds he has created stirs my soul as much as any others I've ever heard. What a genius!

This is one of the most overwhelmingly beautiful pieces of music that has, or ever will be played. The first time I heard this, I was reduced to a crumpled ball on the floor, sobbing tears of joy into a sweatshirt. The melodies just carry so many powerful and seemingly conflicting emotions - love, joy, sadness, regret, awe - but they all come together beautifully. It's like being held tightly in god's arms. I remembered when I first heard this and while I was listening to this piece, I didn't care what was happening around me and was pulled into a trance. Several people called my name and I was too mesmerized by this piece to hear.It's so haunting and beautiful. It's one of my favorites.

I actually haven't watched the movie yet, but this song just amazes me totally. Also I have a advise for you, sit in a crowded place(where people are in a hurry especially,like a subway,airport or a business center etc.),put your headphones and listen to this song while watching over. You'll feel amazing, trust me.
