The oboe is meltingly touching, while the cello is smooth and touching in a different manner. Both are just beautiful. Of course, then there's the genius of Ennio Morricone's composition.

As a 'cellist, a cello doesn't penetrate enough the way the sound of an oboe does. Go the OBOE, with all due respect to Yo Yo, with a more restrained vibrato for intensity.

Besides the marvelous melody, the tone of the cello is amazing! Am told Yo-yo Ma has three cellos of which one is a stradivarius. Is this the strad?
