Otis was one of the most kind and loving people I’d ever met, especially when bumping into him at the gym. Damn bro. Why do such bad things have to happen to such good people, damn. That brother was a good man, flat out. From all the years I saw him in ur videos, that man was always supportin u. He was loyal, trustworthy, honest, and supportive. Never clout chased. Never had ego. Never sneak dissed. Never acted shady. Never tried to steal ur shine. Just a flat out good man straight by definition. Damn. That’s the type of friend we would all want on the battlefield. If one were to fall from bodily injury, Otis would come back and pick u up in a hell storm of gunfire without a second thought. He wouldn’t leave u there alone to die even if it cost him his own life. A good damn, pure friend and those are hard to come by these days.

I found out about you from KigerStrengths channel back when you, BTC, Kiger, and Oak all trained at the same gym. You and BTC always doing your mobility warmups and deadlifting in the background of those videos. Hearing ‘Mornin paper’ and you yelling out loud about a thousand times. Then the PL comps where you set world records, he was the guy hyping you up before each lift and handing off the bar to you. I remember you saying you needed him to be there. That was a genuine moment caught on camera that showed how much you two meant to each other. I can imagine it’s so hard to let somebody who was that close to you go just like that. I’m sorry man this world really isn’t fair to us sometimes.

I’m actually tearing up pretty bad, which is not like me. My friends and I have always loved using his lines at the gym especially deadlifting screaming “MORNIN’ PAPAHH” for motivation. This is the biggest loss the industry has withstood in recent memory and Black Tom Cruise will always be remembered and loved the same way all the legends have been. May Otis’ soul be forever in heaven with God the Father. I’ve never met Otis, but his personality was so amazing that you felt like you were in the videos with him. Just by watching videos of him I can tell that he was truly one of a kind. RIP Otis and may God bless your family.
