Raised in Katonah, New York by a director and an actor/sculptor, Galvin was encouraged to explore the visual and performing arts in his youth, eventually focusing on both playing drums and dance. He was a contributing songwriter to Walk the Moon while in college, and went solo with Yellerkin in 2013.
Featuring bright, harmonic anthems and thudding drums, his first EP as Yoke Lore, Far Shore, was released in the spring of 2016 by B3SCI Records. Its songs were quickly licensed for series on MTV and Netflix. By then based in Brooklyn, where he also co-founded the dance troupe Boomerang, his song "Hold Me Down" garnered seven-figure streams before the end of the year.
In early 2017, he released the single "World Wings" shortly before making his SXSW festival debut and touring the U.S. in support of Overcoats. The song later appeared on his follow-up EP, Goodpain, which was released in June of that year.

Only You
Yoke Lore Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴
You forgot how to love, I'll remind you
Leave this city and fill you up, I was hungry you were stuck
Even though no sticks and stones, you still come through my broken bones
I'll move it on cause you deserve the holy word to fix your home
Find the time, make the plans, and start to plan your little death
Wait in starlit nightlights, feel you fingers keep me growing
I wake in LA feel the sun and pace my smoking
Only you
Only you can see the scars, and only you can run that far, even though no sticks and stones, I feel you through my broken bones
But I move it on cause you deserve the holy word to fix your home, so find the time make the plans and start to plan your little death
Wait in scarlet nightlights, feel your fingers keep me glowing
I wake in LA feel the sun and pace my smoking
Only you, only you, only you, only you, only you

why are such talented artists so underrated? i hate that people don't try to listen to music by artists who aren't recognized enough. this guy right here, deserves so many more likes and subscriptions than he has right now. i'm going to share his music to everyone i know now, just because i love his music. whether he is recognized or not.

So true!

This song should get Grammy, this video should get Oscar...and choreographer should get a place in encyclopedia. It is that good.

Such an amazing talent. He is certainly not recognized enough

I saw him live on tour with Handsome Ghost in Pittsburgh, so glad they brought Adrian with them. He is so ridiculously talented at what he does. His dance skills are always on point as well. Mark my words he is going to explode with fame soon!
The Galty
One of my fave artists! He deserves so much more playtime ❤❤❤

And this is why I listen to and love Spotify. This gem of talent was on my Discover weekly. There is no bad song...so uplifting and just freeing. Keep up the wonderful work!!❤️

Literally same. Discover Weekly pulled through in a big way for me finding this band. On repeat ever since.
