"I see ... your face......and smile.." Anime or not, Cowboy Bebop is a beautiful artwork and it'll never go away. It romantically strives towards the future but touches each of us in a timeless, sensible way. I wish that I could go back to the first time that I watched this series, with all of the knowledge that I had today. I remember being in high school when we'd drink cheap beer in my friend's basement. One night we put on this album while we hung out and drank together. I didn't realize it til much later but that moment has become this emblematic memory of those times and those friendships. It comes back to me every time I hear this beautiful song (and Space Lion). Come to think about those friends, I haven't seen them all in a while, and I suppose there may be some I never see again. Guess you never know when the goodbye you tell someone becomes an adieu. Better hang onto those memories.

Cowboy Bebop is the only love story that doesn't feel like all the others. It feels complicated but simplistic at the same time, everything feels like it has a meaning. It's deeper than any other, but told in such a modest manner.

I’ve never watched Cowboy Bepop but I’m here because after about a year and a half I finally got myself to listen to this and it’s more heart wrenching than I thought. I love this series. the sound track is excellent, and the animation is done just well enough to carry the story, but not over done to the point of distracting from it. I really relate to the general shit luck of the characters, which really plays it off as everyday life. the series is gritty, believable, and has a good character base. one of my favorites.

For people who don't know, "Adieu" is a french word, but it doesn't exaclty mean "Goodbye", goodbye in french wouldl be "Au revoir". "Adieu" is more impactful, it means you will never see the person ever again, except in even. If you cut the word "Adieu" into "A dieu", it means "See you at god" (word by word), but you could translate it by "See you in Heaven".

At the end I always will visualize the end of an episode about a teenage drifter who had just helped a promesing singer from a stalker and at the singer's first night at a basement-club the drifter has packed his bag and is leaving for a further search for anonymity and security and when the singer comes to the final lyrics they exchange a tear-eyed warm look at each other as the pianist finish off with one last solo and then the drifter starts to walk up the stairs with a freezeframe before the credits as the pianist's solo ends with the soft flow.

I took the animation quality of Cowboy Bebop for granted when I first watched it but it's actually very good. Obviously not perfect, nothing is - not even Miyazaki, but very good for a one-off series.

Now it is very rare to see a character like Spike in any anime or cartoon. They're usually a young energetic boy who tragically have no clue what he's doing, but keep doing it anyway. Or some lame innocent nerd boy, somehow live with one or more hot girl with some kind of magic or superpower and everyone seems don't care about it. @@harrylitzler7086 good comment. People move on rather quickly. I broke up with mine couple of months ago and now don't even think about her anymore. I bet she feels the same. It's surprising easy to forget people who don't share blood with you. I'd never forget my mother or brother but my ex yeah she has faded away.

Not gonna lie, Disney has some pretty decent soundtracks. Look at Beauty and the Beast, for instance...the "Tale as Old as Time" song is beautifully written and the orchestration is phenomenal. That being said, Cowboy Bebop is indeed one of the best things I have ever watched and the soundtrack is probably one of the greatest soundtracks to exist...ever

Cowboy Bebop... I can't explain it. They didn't have a ton of character development but in a way it's best if it didn't. It leaves you guessing. There's so much past... It's like people were just moving on from their past. That seemed to be the main focus. You fell in love with the characters. For me, I fell in love with Gren.
