She was a core member of the Korean hip hop and R&B group Uptown, starting out when she was only 16 years old. She later formed Tashannie, a hip-hop and R&B duo in 1999 where she was the primary vocalist. In 2001, she started a solo career under the moniker T. Reid, who speaks Korean and English fluently, is one of the most influential rappers in Korea as well as the most influential female. After settling a dispute with her former record company, World Music, Reid’s new album, Yoon Mi Rae (윤미래), was released in February 2007. The album title is T’s Korean name.

I actually did this video in the dedication of a guy I loved. He entered my life when he was helpless, and suicidal. At first, I thought I was simply helping him out of kindness, and didn't realize I fell for him after the events we went through together. Since ever then, and now, all I really want for him is to be happy, to see him bounce back from the depression one day, and not to come back the same place again. Good thing, he has bounced back already guyss. He is living his life really well with my absence in his life. We stopped talking in person for more than a year already. It hurts so much to be left but if it's how he can move on to the good life, let it be. I'm happy for him. ✨
