I like It
Young & Company Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

You make me happy when we're together
(Send chills up and down, and up and down my spine)

My desire to have you, only you
(I like, I like)
(I like, I like)

I like what cha' doin' to me
Keep on
(Hey, baby)
What cha' doin' to me

Don't stop, no
What cha' doin' to me, baby
I like what cha' doin' to me

I like what cha' doin' to me
Keep on
(Hey, baby)
What cha' doin' to me

Don't stop, no
What cha' doin' to me, baby
I like what cha' doin' to me

Send chills up and down, and up and down my spine
Only you light my fire
Send chills up and down, and up and down my spine
I like, I like
What cha' doin' to me

I like I like
What cha' doin' to me

I like, I like
What cha' doin' to me

Okay i know this comment shows up everywhere but:
I was born in 1990. Growing up, my family threw a ton of parties playing disco music.
I have fond memories my mom, sisters, uncles, aunts and everyone getting up and dancing in the living room to this, chic, Donna summer, etc.

I'm now 33, but as a teen in the 2000s being exposed to disco, I am so grateful.

@toniagreen7836

I don’t think this was disco… I believe this was n the beginning days of techno music

This song was a staple on WBLS with "The Rocker" Frankie Crocker back in the early 80's. It reminds me of many carefree weekends spent in the Queensbridge Projects with my cousin Jackie & the party would continue @ her sister & my cousin 'Retta's apartment In Astoria Projects. We were young parents in our late twenties enjoying life. Now our kids are grown & parents & some are grandparents themselves, making us the grand & great grandparents.
Thank You, Youtube for allowing us to time travel even if it is only for the lenght of a song. Thank You Frankie Crocker & Vaugh Harper for the music & memories. R.I.P. my brothers & "Viva La Musica" !

I was 12 years old going on 13 when this was on the radio back in the day... I can't believe it's been 43 years since this aired on the radio... I have this and then it was taken back in early 93.... I found another one in a batch of vinyl collection that was passed down by NY my neighbor before he moved away..... I felt so glad to have this record again.... I look forward to playing it sometime this weekend.... Keep the memories coming.... Have a blessed summer...... Stay safe.......
