How has this not got a million views this was the anthem of the 90s big up everyone involved in this track 🔥🔥🔥💯

@Bubinga5

One of the finest soul funk albums ever recorded.What an album this is. Way more than just another Acid Jazz record.

@djdrwatson

1:50 WOW! This really takes me back to the early '90s. I can remember practicing for hours trying to do that scratch pattern!

I always wondered why in christs name these beautiful geniuses never did another album. The use of samples on this album is nothing short of godlike, so intelligent. It's also a showcase of Femi's record collection at that time, before all the rare groove was re issued, so it was actually 'rare' and therefore very expensive. The 24 Carat Black album Ghetto: Misfortune's Wealth (from which they sample heavily) was chaging hands for about £400 a throw back then. Get the headphones on for this..

I loved playing this band in my college radio days—they were a great shift from my usual punk shred—specifically this song. Love it.

@lecochonbleu

It did have cult status, it really did. So cool few said. Amazing album - seldom betterred, and the epitomy and height of underground jazz soul dance music from the end of the 80s to '93. You ddidn't get better than this.

@bailey2913

Had the album on cassette back in the day. 👴🏼 kids today don’t know good music 🤣 I had to say it for the nostalgia, I think everyone hears those words growing up 😂

@Tecuexe415

real lyrics with wisdom...fresh and funky beat!

@redjam40

Probably their most funkiest cut that they ever did. Should have gained cult status. I bet before long that this song with feature as a sample for a hiphip song sooner or later. Its so funky and groovy, and yet its from England. I remember this one.
