In 2016, the band were invited to support Massive Attack on their UK and European tour after working together on Massive Attack’s single “ Voodoo In My Blood”, which was released in January 2016.
Young Fathers feature 6 tracks on the Trainspotting T2 soundtrack, including “Only God Knows”, written specifically for the film.
In November 2017 the band announced that they had finished work on their third album to be release on Ninja Tune in early 2018.

i've loved these guys ever since their original two tapes came out...their approach to music and life is quite inspiring!! so much freedom and character in all of their songs/tunes...and none of it is done to please the mainstream...which, for me, gives even more credibility to artists as i know they are making the music because they love it and are not chasing the "lifestyle" and money! If you haven't heard their early material i recommend Tape 2 as a good starting point... :) x

These guys are making truly original music in a time of standard cream paint genre blending. They've managed to take their influences and sound like no other band I've ever heard. I'm hooked! My ears feel refreshed.
