Young Heretics are the brainchild of Melbourne based duo, Kitty Hart and Matthew Wright - eccentric twins, both with a love of warped pop music and sonic invention. The dual vocal attack incorporates theatrical soundscapes, driving beats and a massive selection of other instruments to create a dynamic and inventive sound unlike any Australian music created before it.
After leaving the hugely successful band "The Getaway Plan for the project, Matthew stated Kitty was his favourite lyricist of all time - the musical chemistry between the two is evident throughout every aspect of their sound, Creatively and professionally beyond their years, the few shows they have performed have caused a huge stir amongst punters and industry alike.
The pair spent most of 2009 recording their debut album "We Are The Lost Loves", released in May 2010 it has received critical acclaim from all corners of the globe.

The Lost Loves
Young Heretics Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
That got left behind
By the bodies who made the love
But who could not withstand time
Who's counting up the nights
Where love got pushed aside
Oh the lovers loose the daylight
The harder we fight
The violent it seems
We are not to young to die
But we are all too vain to see
That we are the lost loves
And we are the lost loves
That happened to all the loves
That got left behind
By the bodies who made the love
But who could not withstand time
Coz we are the lost loves
And we are the lost loves
And we are the lost loves
And we are the lost loves
These lyrics speak to the idea that love is fragile and can easily be lost over time, despite the efforts of those involved. The first verse acknowledges that there have been past loves that have been left behind, likely due to the passage of time or other external factors. The second verse contemplates who is keeping track of the missed opportunities for love, recognizing that love can often take a backseat to other priorities in life. The chorus repeats the idea that the singer and those they are singing to are the lost loves, possibly reflecting on their own experiences of lost or forgotten love.
The following verse furthers the idea found in the first two, stating that sometimes the harder we fight for love, the more violent and difficult it can become. The final line of this verse is particularly poignant, noting that we are not immune to death despite our youth, but we are often too consumed by ourselves to see this. The chorus is repeated again, driving home the idea that we are all lost lovers in some sense, searching for something that may have slipped away.
Overall, these lyrics carry a sense of sadness and longing for lost love, while also acknowledging the flaws that can make it so difficult to maintain intimate connections.

All I see from the video is:
Man: I feel like going on a walk.
Lady: Hey... Hey...
Man: Hey, nice day today.
Lady: ... Pssst. Hey...
Man: Oh look at these nice flowers... Oh hi.
Lady: Hey...
Man: Um. Hi.
Lady: You seem lonely. Do you want to go to a Halloween party even though it's April?
Man: Sure???
